BENSON WINK is an associate creative director and cultural programmer. He is interested in memory making through community and experience; in growing the relationship between ecology and culture; in creating long use-case value through creative advertising. 


 
In 2023 & 2024...  

he helpled create a 30 min performance film featuring Grammy Nominated artist, Raveena Aurora and Emmy Nominated chef, Sophia Roe 

he helped concept & produce 9 pop-ups in one month spotlighting urban farms in Brooklyn led by chef Pierce Abernathy

he helped concept and produce Eternal Garden Systems—an 4 part event series dedicated to supporting essential ecological movements. EGS events raised over 35k dollars to support farms, and indiginious groups around the world  

he helped concept & facilitate a 15-person, 5 day artist residency in collaboration with Takigahara Farm in Ishikawa, Japan ︎︎︎

he spoke at the 4th annual Google Visual Design Summit on how to design an ecological subculture

  • After the release of Raveena’s album, Where do the butterflies go in the rain? We went to Callisto Farms, NYC to host a residency, and film 3 performances, and 2 interviews over the course of 4 days. 

  • The film features Sophia Roe, who also executive produced the film.

Music and food experiences hosted at Public Records, Brooklyn that support ecology. 
• Event one sold ticket donations to support Oko Farms, an Aquaponics farm in Williamsburg. 
• Event two supported Gaza and Armenian relief Mutual Aids. 
• Event three was a Climate Week event in collaboration with Atmos Magazine and Air Company. 
• Event four was a emergency community fundraiser for Oko Farms’ relocation fund. 

For each event, we offered discounted ticket to those who have proof of volunteer-ship at a farm, garden, or any other earth work. 300+ Earth Work tickets were purchased across events.

  • For Arc’ship, we created a day long experience dedicated to the everyday nature enthusiast within the AAPI community.  

  • The day included a meditative hike, planting kale at a Korean-owned kimchi farm (East Brand Farms) and a 5-course outdoor dinner by Gut Flora.

PIERCE SPRING TOUR 2024

—Food Pop-ups supporting Mutual Aid Funds and Local Farms

  • For the second Annual Pierce Spring Tour, the team produced an entirely cyclical pop-up tour, with 6 total events across May and June of 2024. The Tour supported Gaza Mutual Aid, the Armenian Relief Society, and Oko Farms. 

  • Restaurants/Locations: Winonas 2 nights, Sauced, Oko Farms, Leo’s, Armenian Church. 

Brand Partner: Mill - an in-home food scraps tech-bin appliance.
